Hi, Violet Gang!

Happy September 1st! This week, I thought I’d write a product review - a product review of a body product: a deodorant stick by Corpus. I heard about this product from a campaign by Oh My Cream, if I remember correctly. Violette_fr had selected her favorite products, which were sold under the name Violette’s Favorites or something similar.

I was smitten with its ultra-simple design and minimal texting. The color of the package is a muted mint with a cool, fresh tone. The finish appears smooth and slightly glossy, enhancing the clean, modern look.

The deodorant itself is neither too dry nor too buttery, melting into a cream upon application. Just right.

CORPUS's products are “natural products”. Natural deodorants have a reputation: overpriced, underperforming, and overly green. But CORPUS is trying to flip that narrative. Their Neroli deodorant stick promises clean ingredients, refined scent, and premium packaging — without compromising on function.

So does it hold up? Or will the natural odours take over? Let’s see.

What Is It?

CORPUS is a North America-based brand known for making aluminum-free, baking soda–free deodorants with a focus on plant-based ingredients and sustainable packaging. Everything is vegan, cruelty-free, and made with essential oils — no synthetics, no parabens.

The Neroli scent is one of their most subtle and elegant options. It's not your typical citrus bomb. Think orange blossom with hints of bergamot, white floral, and a soft green undertone. It's clean, calming, and unisex — almost like a minimalist cologne. The scent actually reminded me of a cologne my grandparents used to wear. I think it was called 4711 Eau de Cologne. That’s why it felt so homey to me.

How It Performs in Real Life

Here’s how the Neroli stick held up in my everyday use:

  • Gym sessions: No BO after strength training or cardio. I still sweat (it’s deodorant, not an antiperspirant), but the scent held up and I didn’t feel the need to reapply.

  • Walks outside: Same result — no odor, no irritation, and the fresh Neroli scent stayed subtle but noticeable.

  • Warmer days (around 25°C): It kept me feeling fresh, and while I could have reapplied if I’d been out all day, I didn’t actually need to.

Bottom line: it’s reliable and genuinely effective, not just a pretty product in chic packaging.

Texture, Packaging & Design

This is where CORPUS really stands out. The stick applies like a cream — smooth, no crumbles, and it dries quickly. No strong white marks on black shirts, so it's better to put your shirt on carefully. No wet finish.

The packaging is clean and modern, with soft-matte plastic in pale green tones. Feels more like a skincare product than a deodorant. Aesthetic wins my heart. One color background, small and minimal text and easy to open and close. You can pull the stick back into the packaging after use.

Scent Profile: Neroli

This is not your standard orange or lemon scent. Neroli is made from orange blossom — it’s floral, green, and slightly citrusy, with a natural softness that doesn’t scream for attention.

It’s gender-neutral and won’t clash with your perfume or cologne. People might notice it, but they won’t smell you from across the room — which is a good thing.

Price in Finland

Expect to pay around €28–€30 per stick at specialty stores, eco boutiques, or online retailers shipping to Finland (like Jolie, Skincity, or Niche Beauty).

It’s pricey, yes — but it lasts about 2–3 months with daily use. Think of it as part deodorant, part subtle fragrance.

Is It Worth It?

If you're used to buying market deodorants for €4, this will feel like a splurge. However, if you're looking for something clean, stylish, and genuinely effective — without harsh ingredients or overpowering scents — CORPUS Neroli is one of the best options in the natural category.

It does its job, it smells like something from a design hotel, and it fits right into a conscious, elevated routine.

Rating: 10/10

I love this, which is why I have repurchased it in several different scents. It’s elegant, skin-friendly, and beautifully understated. A luxury that earns its keep.

Thanks for stopping by👋🏻🙂
